Why High-Volume Cafes Choose the Leon 800 by Ceado
Innovation within tradition — precision grinding for demanding service environments
Built for establishments that can't afford to slow down, the Leon 800 on-demand espresso grinder pairs serious productivity with a compact footprint. Its 83mm flat burrs and intuitive touch display make it just as at home behind a busy bar as it is in a boutique café.
Work Faster with the Leon PFA Version
The Leon 800 PFA takes speed a step further with integrated Portafilter Activation. Just power on, select single or double dose, and insert the portafilter — dosing happens automatically, even when the display is in standby. Need one more shot? Manual mode is still accessible with the portafilter in place, so nothing slows your bar down during a rush.
Consistency That Holds Under Pressure
At the core of the Leon 800 is Ceado's exclusive Steady Lock System, which keeps burr distance constant no matter how hard the grinder is working — so your dialed-in grind size stays locked in, shift after shift. This version also comes with the standard portafilter fixture, compatible with bottomless and naked portafilters, dosing coffee directly and keeping your barista's hands free to keep the line moving.
Key Features
Busy bar, no time to compromise on taste? The Leon 800 gives you Ceado reliability and a clean, consistent flavor at a price that makes sense.
- C83 Steel Burrs (83 mm): Designed for a clean, aromatic flavor profile. Ceado makes every burr in-house, from selecting pure steels to ultra-precise machining and specialized coatings, with each step tracked to the micron for repeatable flavor.
- Advanced Thermal Stability: An aluminum ring in direct contact with the motor and body acts as a thermal mass to stabilize temperature and quickly dissipates excess heat. The result is consistent extraction, shot after shot.
- Steady Lock System: Locked-bearing motors keep the burrs at a constant distance, even under demanding conditions. Thermal expansion won't shift your grind size, so your settings hold.
- New Touch Interface: An intuitive touchscreen puts flavor control at your fingertips. The layout adapts to your workflow, and many menu items can be password-protected for added security in daily use.
- Extreme Compactness: A lightweight alloy body, asynchronous motor with thermal protection, and polycarbonate hopper make it a solid fit for tight counters.
- Universal Portafilter Holder: Also compatible with bottomless/naked portafilters, leaving your barista's hands free.
- Optional PFA (Portafilter Activation): Built for high-volume venues serving single or double shots. Switch on the grinder, select the automatic dose, and insert the portafilter. PFA stays active even when the screen is in standby, and you can switch to manual mode for an extra shot without removing the portafilter.
